100βž• followers πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

I started this journey on the 6th of March. It’s the last week of June when I received a notification of 100 followers. It’s not just a number, 100 friends join me in my odyssey of writing.

I used to read the pen friend series in one of my favourites Urdu monthly. I got thrilled to read how strangers became friends.

Word Press is more like that of a pen friend series. I share my piece of written art, I learn from you, channel my opinions, and in all of this literary field connect with emotions. I see how differently one colour is used, how the same canvas depicts various pictures. When I resemble red with the eternity of life and death you call it power.

Started with formality I shook hands of friendship. Now we’re friends. I love my uncle who respects and loves without any difference.

I surprised and elated when Cezanne congratulated me on the first victory of Pakistan in ICC Cricket World cup. This is how you remember me.

Here I would love to tell you which was my first writing, who was my first friend and who gave first like.

My first two writings are my most favourite. I wouldn’t have started this blog if I hadn’t published them.

United we stand is the first one and the very next is the true story that made me think of ungratefulness. It was the time when I realized what exactly happiness is.

My third post brought first like out of the blue. It was Louis who liked. Via her site, I met one who became my first friend “Betul“.

Dear friends thank you so much for your time and respect. You are from all walks of life. The way you manage time from your busy schedule means a lot. I hope you will continue your support.

⚘⚘⚘⚘Thank you!!!⚘⚘⚘⚘

  1. Aapko bahut Mubarak Saba for this blissful blogging moment. Your blogging story is very pleasing, mashallah! May you achieve more and more milestones in this journey! JazakAllah! 🌹🌹🌹

  2. God bless you Saba. You are such a sweet and loving girl that you will have thousands of followers. It is my pleasure and privilege to know you.
Looks like I started my journey just a couple of weeks before you. We were destined to meet and connect. I am sure our connection is much deeper than the social media connect.
May God give you wisdom and a fulfilling life.

    1. Jazakallah Uncle. πŸ’žπŸ’ž
      I can’t manage thousands of followers πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚
      You’re right I also think so. πŸ’žπŸ’–πŸ’–
Thank you so much for dua.
      Ameen ⚘⚘

      1. But you are right Saba… big numbers in a way are scary. I being an engineer and good at maths have already seen that : about 10-20% followers like our posts (when followers are big enough number) and less than 5% comment 😜 Even with this if we have, say 1000 followers; it would mean engaging with 50 everyday and that is too much. I am comfortable with about 10-12 !!
But nothing to worry about at this stage. One step at a time 😊
You have brought so much happiness to me and that itself is success enough for me πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—

  3. This is such a sweet tribute to friends! We have indeed become good friends already! I love you lots with all my heart and I hope (and I am sure) you will keep posting and brighten our lives with your light. Keep going girl! Your friend, Betul❀️

  4. Congratulations! I love your analogy with pen pals. You’re right! Blogging is like having a big pile of pen pals! Never thought of it that way. I used to have pen pals when I was a kid (quite a while ago!) and loved it! ❀

      1. I used to so look forward to getting their letters, reading about life in a different country, then sending them things from my home. Now I get to read about so many different ideas, experiences, places etc, and a lot of people post great photos too. It’s like pen pal central on steroids πŸ˜†
